About the event
Registration limited to attendees of the CASEM 2026 Annual Symposium. With limited capacity, we cannot guarantee availability. Join MD Biologix, in partnership with CASEM, for an evidence-based lunch symposium at the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort on Friday, May 1st, from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM. This session, titled "Innovations in Orthobiologics," features a keynote from Dr. Nathan Thakur on the critical evidence for high-dose PRP therapy and the "10 billion platelet threshold" required for clinical efficacy. Following the keynote, a moderated expert panel will discuss standardized protocols and the clinical rationale for PRP + HA treatment sequencing in daily Canadian sports medicine practice. The panel will then be taking questions from the audience.
Designed for the sports medicine community, this symposium moves beyond elite athletic care to focus on optimizing outcomes for the everyday patient. Attendees will explore how to overcome barriers to orthobiologic adoption and integrate advanced technologies like KeyPRP and Synolis VA into their existing treatment algorithms. With capacity limited during the main conference lunch window, we encourage early registration to secure your seat for this essential discussion on the future of Canadian orthobiologics.
