Product Spotlight

Welcome to our new series, Product Spotlight! Here, we will be taking an in-depth look at the products offered by MDBiologix, and providing you with all the information you need to get the most out of our products and enhance your clinical practice.

In this edition of Product Spotlight, we will be focusing on the MTS Roller, a revolutionary new skincare tool that offers a cost-effective, versatile, and safe treatment alternative for a wide range of skin conditions.

The MTS Roller is a powerful tool that can be used in a clinical setting or provided to patients for continuous use during their skin care journey.

What is the MTS Roller?

The MTS Roller is a skincare tool that promotes collagen induction through controlled mechanical stimulation of the dermis. It is designed to be used on both the face and the body, and it can be used to treat a wide range of skin conditions, including depressed acne scarring, surgical scars, sun-damaged skin, uneven skin texture, uneven skin coloration (pigmentation), wrinkles and “smile” lines, stretch marks, and cellulite.

Why choose an MTS Roller over other Derma Rollers?

Most importantly, the MTS Roller is an FDA and Health-Canada approved medical device.

It is the highest quality roller on the market today – only MTS Roller is made from surgical quality Lexan (compare with other rollers made from ABS plastic or resin), and the highest quality surgical steel available in the world manufactured under strict ISO9001 standards in a high-tech clean room facility.

It also features 200 bristles - the most of any roller on the market - and has a longer lifespan than other rollers, up to 6 months when following the manufacturing guidelines for care and cleaning.

How can the MTS Roller be used in my clinical practice?

In a clinical setting, the MTS Roller is a cost-effective and versatile solution for non-surgical and non-ablative treatment of various skin conditions such as aging (wrinkles, stretching), scarring (acne, surgical), and hyperpigmentation. Clinical studies have shown MTS (microneedle therapy system) to be more effective than ablative treatments like laser resurfacing, dermabrasion, and chemical peel and just as effective as non-ablative treatments like IPL, CO2 laser, and Fraxel in stimulating collagen and elastin production to thicken the skin thereby erasing wrinkles and smoothing scars (1,2).

Additionally, the personal rollers are easy to use and may be provided to patients alongside clinical solutions for continuous use during their skin care journey.

Overall, clinicians love the MTS roller for it's combination of quality, effectiveness, and safety.
